There are a handful of combat-related trophies that can also be unlocked during this playthrough-some of them will unlock naturally-though these two can also be spread across both playthroughs.Īfter the credits roll, you will be asked to make a Clear Save at the very end of the game. Both Kasane and Yuito have 34 quests each for a total of 68, so you can choose to tackle 15 of the easiest quests for both characters for an easier time. It would be best to complete as many quests as possible as you need to complete 30 across both playthroughs. It’s recommended to see every Bond Episodes during this stage at the least, though it would be much easier on yourself if you also gave every gift to all teammates and increase their Bond Level 6. Advertisements Stage One – Complete Kasane’s Storyĭuring this stage of our Scarlet Nexus Trophy Guide, you will focus on completing Kasane’s story (If you chose to play as Yuito first, take note of the Knowledge of the Past trophy as you can only unlock it as Yuito). I thought Kasane was more interesting so I chose her story first and, as such, have written the guide with that in mind. Both characters use Psychokinesis to supplement their combat. Yuito uses a katana which makes him better at close range. Kasane uses floating blades that she controls with her Psychokinesis to deal damage, making her most effective at medium range.

After almost every phase, you will enter a Standby phase where you’re free to roam the Hideout and Suoh. Scarlet Nexus lets you hang out with your teammates during Standby phases. Scarlet Nexus is exciting and succeeds at everything it sets out to do.Įarn all of this game’s trophies! Scarlet Nexus Trophy Guide: Before You Begin Bond Episodes They all have weak spots and attack patterns that were a pure joy to figure out and exploit. Each enemy looks like someone took several household items and ran them through a blender, and glued what’s left to a mannequin. The enemy designs, in particular, are fascinating. Still, you can take it a step further and use Arashi’s Hypervelocity to set the enemy on fire even faster. An enemy weak to flames is perfect fodder for Hanabi’s Pyrokinesis.

Teammates impact the combat even further by offering up their unique skills to supplement Yuito’s or Kasane’s attacks. Yuito and Kasane have different skills that aid them in combat and even possess differing melee weapons, drastically changing your approach to each battle.

The combat system is serviceable and often enjoyable though the lack of i-frames during dodging is frustrating and feels underbaked. Similarly, each character also has access to a squad of highly likable teammates, each with their own motivations and personalities. Playing as either Yuito or Kasane will lead players down hugely different paths, though those paths cross frequently. Scarlet Nexus is a slick new IP from Bandai Namco that tackles a wide range of Sci-Fi topics, from memory alteration to human experiments and more across its two intersection storylines.
